Make Time to Make Something

Make Time to Make Something

March 11, 2025

"Look around you, look up here

Take time to make time,

make time to be there

Look around, be a part"

- Lady, by Little River Band

Making something (a creative project you've been meaning to get to, the sweater you've been knitting on and off since high school, order out of a pile of photos or papers, a nice hot cup of cocoa in a pretty mug, doodles or scribbles) forces our brains to slow down, to pay attention, to notice what's around us.

The process converts our thoughts, feelings, ideas, and instincts into something concrete.

After it makes us feel good, it can make others feel.

Come for the next virtual Stitch & B*tch on Saturday, April 19th, 12 PM - 1:45 PM Eastern.

It doesn't matter what you make - you can even just make conversation! You will be creating something beautiful because the world hasn't seen it before.
