The Wonder of Wonder Woman - Need to Be Wonder Woman Quiz

The Wonder of Wonder Woman

May 11, 2025

Wonder Woman may be our perfect superhero. She does it all—everything for everyone—all while upholding her values, sustaining hope, and looking fabulous in a bodysuit!

Psychologist and women’s rights advocate William Moulton Marston created the demigoddess in 1941 as a champion of love, truth, and compassion protecting humankind from the forces of evil. He aimed to present a new type of woman who would run the world by embracing cooperation and understanding over aggression. We Crisis Navigation Partners® agree: That would be awesome!

Wonder Woman's enduring appeal runs deep. Her duality reminds us we can be both fierce and kind—powerful and compassionate—as we hold fast to the potential for good and stand up for what's right. Here's more about what makes her such an inspiring figure:

  • Unwavering Integrity: Her commitment to truth and justice is absolute. In a world where those qualities feel rare, she stands as a beacon of moral clarity.
  • Strength with Empathy: She proves that true power isn't only about physical might; it's intertwined with compassion, understanding, and genuine care for humanity.
  • Champion of the Underdog: She consistently fights for those who cannot fight for themselves, embodying the spirit of a true protector.
  • Barrier Breaker: She paves the way through patriarchal society as a powerful woman representing female strength and independence.
  • Intelligence: She's a keen strategist who demonstrates that knowledge and wisdom are vital forms of power.

While we can aspire to emulate Wonder Woman as we seek to save the world, in reality: We are mere mortals! When we unconsciously expect ourselves to BE Wonder Woman, we extend our best qualities beyond what's healthy for our minds, bodies, and spirits, in turn preventing our own Brilliance-Based® functioning. Rather than hold Wonder Woman as #Goals, let's try infusing merely one of her virtues at a time as we navigate our own human experience.
